Brett O’Buck

 

Playing:  High School:  Lettered 3 years for the Pope Greyhounds.  Played Center and Tackle in High School.  Was All-County and All-State.  Elected Captain as a senior, won the Atlanta Touchdown Club’s Lineman of the Week, also won the teams Unsung Hero award.  Earned a scholarship to Eastern Kentucky University. 

 

College:  Was a four-year letter winner and 3 year starter for Eastern Kentucky University of the OVC.  Won a conference championship, was a part of EKU Winner’s Club, elected Captain and was also voted team’s Offensive MVP.  Was elected All-Conference as well.

 

Coaching: College-Started my college career as the assistant strength coach at EKU.  Help this position for 2 years.  Promoted to Head Strength coach and was responsible for the strength and conditioning for all 16 athletic teams. 

High School-Started coaching at

Madison Central High School in Richmond, KY.  As a strength coach and offensive line coach.  Coached there for 4 years helping improve the record from 0-10 to 8-4 and also a district championship. 

 

Lassiter High School- Offensive line coach and Strength coach for 3 years.

 

Personal life- Married to Misty and has two sons Jake (16)  and Brody (7).
