Series History

Sprayberry and Osborne first played in 1957 (Sprayberry won 26-6) in what was Sprayberry's second season of prep football and Osborne's first. The game between these two Marietta area teams (which are about 10.5 miles apart) is the oldest ongoing rivalry for both programs in terms of time since first meeting (55 years).

Overall, the teams have played 23 games, with Sprayberry holding a 13-10-0 advantage. Their last meeting was a 43-0 SubRegion win by Sprayberry in 2011.
