Melissa is a licensed physical therapist as well as a certified and licensed athletic trainer. Melissa received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Health Science from Kennesaw State University and a Master of Physical Therapy from Georgia State University.
She has been employed by Select Physical Therapy in Kennesaw as a physical therapist and has worked with Cobb County high schools as an athletic trainer since 2002.
Her professional memberships include:
- American Physical Therapy Association
- Physical Therapy Association of Georgia
- National Athletic Trainer Association.
A former collegiate cross country standout at KSU, Melissa resides in Woodstock and spends most of her free time running the trails at Kennesaw Mountain.
