Sprayberry Football

From The ECHO (Spring 1995):

"The overall determination and effort put forth by Sprayberry's Varsity Football Team this [1994] season has been outstanding.  Each individual on the team has devoted himself with hard work and extra time.  Senior Gerald Bennett states, 'Even though we don't always come out on top, we always give it our best effort.'  The outcome of the season was not as it was predicted, but it has prepared the players for next year.

The team is working under the direction of first-year Head Coach, Ronnie White.  Coach White remarks, 'The transition of our team with new coaches and young players has been a difficult challenge; however, we are very optimistic and looking forward to the future.'  Senior Thomas Nelson states, 'The team came out day after day and gave it everything we had.'"
